In 1992, the benefits of using Tea Tree Oil in professional spa-grade treatments were discovered, and so the Australian Bodycare brand was formed. The aim of the brand was to utilise tea tree oil in a way that could be accessed in the comfort of an individual's own home anytime they wanted. For the last 29 years, Australian Bodycare has released a successful range of body washes, Hydrating Body Balms and shampoos, under the guidance of its managing director Jan Kruse Hansen.The whole Australian Bodycare range is created to be safe for even the most sensitive of skin types, with formulations that are dermatologist approved.

One of the brand's most popular products is the Australian Bodycare Bodywash. The product aims to gently cleanse the skin of all dirt and impurities picked up during the day while protecting the body's natural oils, never stripping them. Infused into a blend with exfoliating agent glycerin, to soften the skin, follow up with an application of the fast-absorbing Australian Bodycare Body Lotion.

Australia Tea Tree Oil is an essential oil, pale yellow in colour with a fresh camphoraceous smell and a colour that ranges from pale yellow to nearly colourless. It’s extracted from the leaf of the Melaleuca alternifolia which is native to the Lismore region of New South Wales. It grows in a limited area of approximately 50 square kilometres; this is the natural habitat of the tree, the low lying, spongy rainforest area of Australia. There have been numerous attempts at growing Tea Tree in several other places in the world, but the result has been sub-standard with either the oil quality or the trees not maturing.

The products in Australian Bodycare Face Range can be used by both men and women and are suitable for all skin types. The products’ natural ingredients restore the healthy balance of the skin, and the facial products therefore suit both a dry skin or a blemished skin with pimples and blackheads.  All our products contain 100% natural Tea Tree Oil of a high pharmaceutical grade from Australia.
