Having already been established in the beauty business as Nature’s Therapy, a company known for the brand Professionäl – which targeted the market’s need for high quality, reasonably priced salon quality hair care goods in a retail setting – Rocky and Bethany Pagliarulo purchased the trademarks for DeMert and Dougherty in 2000. Being industry veterans who recognized DeMert Brands’ Nail Enamel Dryer as number one in the industry, they simplified the name to DeMert Brands and continued developing existing business, expanding distribution and adding goods to extend product lines. 

DeMert Brands, now considered a legacy brand by the professional beauty industry (Beauty Store Business, 2012), has been around for over 50 years. Including those mentioned above, DeMert Brands creates and maintains over 125 products within 12 product lines.  At DeMert Brands the quality of our goods is truly our number one priority. We want all of our customers to feel like they are getting the highest quality beauty care products without the high dollar salon pricing.
