At Beauty Savers we stock a range of Nail Polish and Gel Polish Removers including acetone and non-acetone from brands such as CND, Jessica, Kaeso and Strictly Professional. Acetone is stronger and more effective than non-acetone nail polish remover, making it exactly what you need to remover your gel nail polish.

When removing your nail polish instead of being heavy handed and leaving stains all over your skin, soak your cotton pad in your nail polish remover then press this into your nail without wiping. This will help dissolve the polish and make it easier to remove. Wipe once away from your nail after a few seconds. Always finish this process with a nourishing cuticle oil to ensure your nails have not lost any moisture.

To remove your gel polish, start to gently buff the top of your gel this breaks the top seal to allow your gel remover to soak into and break down the gel. If your using cotton pads or Gel Remover Foils soak each pad in acetone and place on top of each nail. Leave this for 10-15 minutes. The nails should now be soft and the gel should lift with a cuticle pusher or orange wood stick, if not they may need to re-soaked. As acetone can be harsh on the skin, we recommend using a cuticle oil and hand cream to add moisture back to your nails.
